Coalition Members
With more than 410 organizational members, CivxNow is the nation’s largest cross-partisan coalition working to prioritize civic education in the United States.
Recognizing that preparing our youth to assume the responsibilities and understand their rights as active participants in the civic life of this great nation is essential to the health of our democratic republic, CivxNow pledges to advance civic education policy to ensure that every young person acquires the civic knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for informed civic participation.
Coalition members contribute to this effort through engagement in the state policy task force and/or affinity groups—policy; awareness-building; and research and best practices.*

With the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026, Los Angeles 2028, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2031 all coming to the United States, the country is entering a defining era for soccer. Soccer Forward, U.S. Soccer’s legacy and social impact arm, uses soccer as a force for good to strengthen students and their communities, and we were thrilled to welcome them as an official CivxNow member earlier this year.
The Soccer at Schools national effort expands access to soccer in schools, supporting movement, connection, and confidence for youth. As the game’s national governing body, U.S. Soccer is uniquely positioned to equip educators and coaches with trusted resources and connect schools to a network of community and member organizations, supporting social-emotional learning, belonging, and healthier school communities. Soccer and sports are often young peoples’ first introduction to democratic processes and help shape their civic, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. By expanding access to soccer, we expand access to civic participation and engagement.
