This month, Laura Hamilton, Ph.D., Senior Director, Center on Advancing Measurement and Assessment, presented a Research Talk for the Research and Best Practices affinity group. Teachers play an indispensable role in #wholechild development in critical areas like civic education, culturally responsible practices, and #SEL. A nationally representative survey of K-12 teachers led by AIR’s Center on Advancing Measurement & Assessment asked teachers about their experiences, beliefs, practices, and working conditions to better understand what kinds of support they need for supporting whole child development.
